The Governing Body Members, Staff Members as well as all the residents of the SEVAC Home consider themselves as the members of a joint family.
SEVAC came into existence in the year 1988 with a strong determination for rendering dedicated service to the mentally ill people and other vulnerable groups who are prone to mental health impairment and human rights violation.
Dr. Tapas Kumar Ray took the initiative in this regard. Fortunately his like minded friends, who are Doctors and School Teacher by profession encouraged Dr Ray to translate his dream into reality and extended their moral support for constituting SEVAC. The persons whose sincere motivation brought SEVAC into existence are:
